Spooktacular Pumpkins and Pebbles!
Once again the talented bunch of children impressed us all immensely with the amazing amount of effort and creativity put into their pumpkins and pebbles this Halloween!

But, we promised 3 prize winners, and although Mrs Barber had a very tough time here they are…

‘Bounce Back to School’
We would like to say a huge to every one of you who attended “Bounce Back to School” and we hope you and the children enjoyed it? They certainly seemed to have a LOT of fun!
When this event was talked about at our last PTA meeting of the summer term, the thinking behind it was simple…a fun day for the children to get excited about and enjoy. A fun way to kick off the school year.
We had hoped that ticket sales and on the day sales of refreshments would cover the cost of the inflatables, but we never ever imagined that this event could actually generate money for our school!
Your support at this event has raised us an amazing £776.62. Much needed funds for our school that each and every one of you have helped us to generate! THANK YOU!
We must also say a massive thank you to both MORRISONS POYNTON for your amazing donations of hot dogs and crisps and ALDI POYNTON for your fabulous donations of cakes and children’s drinks! Thank you both so much for your generosity.
We must also give a huge shout out and thank you to OMC Inflatables who were just brilliant, we cannot recommend them enough!
What a fun “welcome back to school” event this was…maybe we could start a new Lostock Hall tradition?

We hope you enjoyed your 10 minutes extra playtime in the sun?

Easter Hamper Raffle
WOW!! Our Easter hamper raffle was absolutely amazing this year! Lostock Hall students, families and friends – thank you!
We have been blown away by your support again and ticket sales have raised an incredible £560!
Once again, a big thank you to Morrison’s Poynton for your generous hamper donation too. Your continued support of lovely school is so valued!
The draw was aired live on our Facebook page and 17 fabulous hampers were matched up with their new owners!

Wow, what an absolutely fabulous World Book Day!
There was a real buzz of excitement in school today. So many amazing costumes in every class, with a brilliant effort from all the teachers too!
World Book Day 2022 saw the PTA’s very first Big Bargain Second Hand Book Shop which has turned out to be a huge success!
Each class had their allotted time at the book shop and the children were encouraged to ‘go shopping’. It was an absolute delight to see the excitement on their faces!
There were plenty of books for a range of ages, priced from 10p to £1.

On the first day of Christmas MORRISONS gave to me…
200 selection boxes for the pupils at Lostock Hall!
You may remember your children coming home with a fantastic selection box just before the Christmas holiday.
Well, with thanks to a generous donation from Morrisons, the PTA were able to provide tasty treats for all.
We hope you enjoyed them!
